Winter League Wk4

Sorry, we missed posting the results last week due to a busy week with prize-givings and the little matter of the AGM!

So back to business, and some familiar names in the winners list.

David Crowder returned to 1st Scratch with a 71, just pipping Ronald Lambie with a BIH. However, Ronald jumps to the top of the Eclectic List!

In the handicap, new boy, Gordon Smith (nett 59) takes the honours, with Tam Lindsay (nett 63), and Iain McPherson (net 65) back on the winners list. There were 4 on nett 65, but Iain came out on tops with the better inward!

In the other Eclectic groups, (10-17) Wattie Barbour (63) cemented his top spot with Jim Townsley and Willie Young (65) hot on his heels. (18+), Dave MacDougall, (71) is finally knocked off the top spot by David Bell (69).

It was certainly frosty on Sunday with temperatures in the shade not lifting above freezing. Some 23 hardy golfers played in the competition with some others enjoying "the walk"!
